It's the people that use their religious faith as a excuse to target homosexual because the truth is that the bible doesn't really condemn homosexual people, in many cases they are praised and held in high esteem if you look into the scriptures. Their is only one part of the bible that MIGHT be talking about homosexuals, but we don't know that for sure, some believe that it's not about homosexuality specifically. It's like the other excuse to attack gay people is because of Sodom and Gomorrah, but god didn't destroy Sodom and Gomorrah because of homosexuality, god destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because the people were inhospitable to the strangers, they were not kind people. God also destroyed many other city's for the same reason because of inhospitably toward others. In one part he saved a prostitute because she was kind to the strangers, while he destroyed the other city's. The only other place int he bible were they may be talking about killing gay people and others, not just gay people is in Romans when the many preaching revisits Leviticus law, those are Jewish laws. So, in true reality the bible doesn't really condemn Homosexual, it only condemns the misconduct of sex, but that could be if your homosexual, or heterosexual or even a prostitute. God didn't really condemn the prostitute, he only condemned the misconducts of these things. Even Eunuch, in history their are both natural born and man made Eunuchs, but it was the natural Eunuchs that were more desirable and respected, the man made Eunuch were usually created for slavery or some other reasons or crimes, but the natural ones were not considered in that category, and they were highly respected. A Eunuch is a person that doesn't have the natural inclination for a woman during biblical times, and the bible speaks highly of Eunuchs through it's pages. I'm not defending Christianity because I'm a non believer in the Abrahamic faiths because of it's violence for others. I agree that Eastern cultures are more respecting for homosexual people, but some changed because of the adoption of western practices like Christianity, unfortunately!
