Shepherd Smith, Fox news anchor, defends the public option and slams Senator Barrasso
More of Shepherd Smith. This time he is speaking about how some Fox viewers scare the hell out of him.
Old news, but I recently had a discussion with a friend about the 9/11 plane crash into the Pentagon. He believed it was completely impossible and claimed there was no plane debris found. I just found this video that first proves that flight 93 existed and its hijacking did occur, but this is followed by a detailed reconstruction of the Pentagon crash. Strangely enough, there is plenty of footage of plane debris. It seems the plane didn’t disintegrate completely and it seems that only 9/11 conspiracy theorist have been told this. Conspiracy theorist are in turn telling people like me who believe it is true. After watching this video, I am only skeptical about the different versions of the story and find it insane that I cannot be completely sure whether debris was found on the Pentagon lawn or not. It seems anybody can claim anything in this day and age, but this a strange one. Does anybody know for sure if there was plane debris in front of the Pentagon. I know one thing. I drove down there with some buddies the night of 9/11 and it looked like a plane had smacked into the Pentagon. The lawn was untouched as far as we could tell and there was a great big scorched hole in the Pentagon. Anyway, watch the video and learn. Feel free to fastforward past the depressing flight 93 radio transmissions; the Pentagon part starts about midway through.
Here is some more anti-conspiracy information, since information in support of the 9/11 conspiracy seems so easily found and hard to dispute, I have provided this NIST FAQ on 9/11. It seems those into conspiracy theories about 9/11 do not actually look that hard for countering evidence. They simply take the conspiracy theorist word that other evidence to the contrary is not in existence.
Rwanda has been declared free of landmines – the first country to achieve this status.

Former CNN anchor Lou Dobbs, pondering a future in politics, is trying to wipe away his image as an enemy of Latino immigrants by positioning himself as a champion of that fast-growing ethnic bloc.
Mr. Dobbs, who left the network last week, has said in recent days that he is considering a third-party run for a New Jersey Senate seat in 2012, or possibly for president. Polls show voters unhappy with both parties, and strategists believe Mr. Dobbs could tap populist anger over economy issues just as Ross Perot did in the
President Barack Obama has given a major boost to next month’s UN climate change negotiations in Copenhagen by offering firm targets for cuts in US greenhouse gas emissions. The move, announced today, has been widely welcomed by climate change campaigners. But although they may seem generous, the proposed targets are in fact far from what developing nations and climate scientists have called

Hopes for the Copenhagen climate summit in December have been boosted after it emerged that more than 60 presidents and prime ministers plan to attend.
There had been concern that no strong agreement would emerge from the talks in Copenhagen.
But observers say the presence of so many leading government figures will radically increase

Al Ram, West Bank (CNN) — The Faisal al Husseini football stadium was packed, two hours before kick off, with a noisy sea of Palestinian flags and white hijabs.
Football matches are always a big deal in the West Bank, but this game was more significant than most. 10,000 women had flocked to the stadium, on the outskirts of East Jerusalem and a mere few meters from the separation barrier that snakes around the West Bank, to watch a historic football match few would have believed possible just a few years ago: the Palestinian women’s national team were to play Jordan in their first ever home
